Zady tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. Zady is an antibiotic (macrolide). It works by blocking the protein synthesis, which is required for bacteria to perform their essential functions. Hence, it stops the growth of bacteria. Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take the complete course of treatment without missing any doses. Medication

Kidney: Zady tablets must be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.

• Zady is used in the treatment of bacterial infections • It can be taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after food • Consult your doctor if you experienced allergic reactions like an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat, or tongue, or breathing difficulties while taking this medication • Consult your doctor if notice blood in stools • Antacids should be taken before 3 hours or after taking zady.
Contraindications: • Zady + Bepridil: Concurrent use may result in an increased risk of qt- interval prolongation • Zady + Cisapride: Concurrent use may result in an increased risk of qt- interval prolongation • Zady + Ergotamine: Concurrent use may result in an increased risk of acute ergotism (nausea, vomiting, vasospastic ischemia) • Zady + Terfenadine: Concurrent use may result in an increased risk of qt- interval prolongation Major: • Zady + Acecainide: Concurrent use may result in an increased risk of cardiotoxicity • Zady + Amiodarone: Concurrent use may result in an increased risk of cardiotoxicity • Zady + Ceritinib: Concurrent use may result in an increased risk of qt-interval prolongation • Zady + Ciprofloxacin: Concurrent use may result in an increased risk of qt interval prolongation.
