If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines (if prescribed) along with oxramet tablets.
• Take it with food to lower your chance of having an upset stomach.
• Oxramet tablets can cause urinary tract infections.
Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and practise good genital hygiene.
• It may cause your body to lose too much fluid (dehydration), or you urinate more often.
• Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
It can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol or if you delay or miss a meal.
